LEARNING USING VISUALIZER

If you want to learn how to play a song, a MIDI file gives the unique chance to do that using a visualizer such as Synthesia on all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). You simply load the MIDI file and the visualizer shows you what to play. For most visualizers you can easily pause, speed up/down, and so on to help you learn at your own pace. 

LISTEN TO LIVE PERFORMANCES

You can load MIDI files on your piano and get the feeling of Enrique Lázaro performing live in your living room. A MIDI file can be loaded on a digital piano or an acoustic self-playing piano such as Yamaha Disklavier or Steinway Spirio. Regular acoustic pianos do not support the use of MIDI files.   

WHAT IS A MIDI FILE?

A MIDI file is a digital music file that captures the precise details of Enrique's performances, such as the notes played, sustain pedal and the tempo. This makes it possible to display the performance using visualization software. It is not an audio recording or sheet music, so you'll need MIDI-compatible software or device to use it.

The main benefit is that you can learn songs even if you don't know how to read sheet music. Additionally, MIDI files contain more information than traditional sheet music, such as when the sustain pedal is pressed.

HOW CAN I USE MIDI FILE?

My MIDI files are mainly used for learning songs through visualizers and directing digital/self-playing pianos. Commercial use is strictly prohibited.To play MIDI files, you can use software like Synthesia or other MIDI visualizers.To hear the performance, you can load the file into a MIDI-compatible digital or self-playing piano for accurate playback.

All notes in my MIDI files have been intentionally modified to play at the same volume. This is to protect my work from unauthorized use (such as on streaming platforms or for commercial purposes). The rest of the performance is identical to what you can see in my YouTube videos. They are useful for practicing in Synthesia for those who can't read sheet music.
